  • 1 oz Warrior 16.1% AA (15 min)

  • 2 oz Nugget 11.2% AA (0 min)
  • 1 oz Palisade 7.4% AA (0 min)

Brewing Notes

Mash temp was initially low at 148 F so we took out 2 qts, boiled it and added it back in to bring the temp up to 151 F.

Mash tun was very full! We fly sparged by pouring pitchers of sparge water over grains.

This version of the Nugget Nectar turned out better than James' version with the late hopping (West). But neither were as good as the commerical brew. Perhaps a hopback will help.
